Sophie Forrer is a third-year student from Plano, Texas. She is an Interior Architecture and Design student in the Honors Program. In her first year of the program, Sophie was awarded the Pryor Award for Leadership in Design because of her performance and ability. Over the summer of 2022, she spent time in Barcelona studying notable works of architecture by Gaudi and other Catalan architects. She wants to work in commercial design and has a strong interest in construction and design-build. Sophie is passionate about bettering the built environment and hopes to put sustainability and human well being at the forefront of all the work she completes. In the years after graduation, she hopes to pursue further education in the fields of design, construction, and sustainability.
