PARKER BEAZLEY
4th Year Interior Design
I have always been passionate about interior design and confident in my abilities as a designer. Taking on experience over the past two years interning with a design firm in Dallas has given me thorough understanding of the field and design process. I have learned over the years how important good communication skills are a designer. Having a good relationship with clients, vendors, contractors, etc. is vital to a project’s success. As a person, being very organized is a skill of mine. This is implemented into all my work endeavors. Applying great formal communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a great attitude to all situations is my prerogative. Being a great addition to any team by working collaboratively and also independently is a strong suit of mine that you can count on. In my past experience, I have worked in all stages and aspects of the design process such as consulting clients, contacting vendors, working with contractors, overseeing installation processes, and keeping track of order statuses and whereabouts. During my years of experience, becoming even more passionate about interior design and excited about my work and capabilities has become apparent. During these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic going to school online from home, while also working with a design firm to further my knowledge and experience in the field has been a rewarding experience. My time at school, work, modeling, extracurriculars, and personal life have been managed all while maintaining a 3.5 GPA and graduating with a BA in Interior Design with a minor in General Business.
