Architecture + Design
Madison Laxton is a third-year Interior Architecture and Design student from Bentonville, Arkansas pursuing her bachelor's degree with a minor in History of Architecture and Design. She is interested in both commercial and residential design, with an emphasis on custom furniture and ceiling element design. She is currently an active member of ASID, aside from devoting her academic time to the Fay Jones School. This past summer of 2022, Madison had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy, exploring her love for historic architecture and its evolution and preservation in modern times. Madison is planning on interning in the upcoming summer of 2023, and continuing interning into her fourth year of the Interior Architecture and Design program. She is looking to pursue a career in commercial or residential design, with a potential future in furniture design, upon graduating in 2023.
