MACKENZIE WATERS

4th Year Interior Design

Mackenzie is serving as the ASID Vice President for the 2021-2022 academic year. She has experience interning at BWA Architects in Dallas where she played an integral role in developing material palettes, renderings, architectural drawings, presentations, and construction documents for a project. Mackenzie is currently working in the school’s material library and has previously worked in the woodshop, as well as a research assistant for faculty. Her portfolio was chosen as a Semi-Finalist in the ASID 2021 Student Portfolio competition. She is driven by her passion for helping others, which interior design gives her the ability to do. Mackenzieis interested inpursing a career in Hospitality, Retail, Workplace, and cultural design.
