MACKENZIE ACKLEN

4th Year Interior Design

Mackenzie was born in Texarkana, TX, and raised in De Queen, AR until she was 10, then moved back to Texarkana. She is a 4th-year student at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Mackenzie is interested in Commercial design mainly but would also enjoy working in retail and residential design as well. She plans to work on an internship in the summer of 2021 and gain more design experience and then study abroad in Copenhagen in the summer of 2022 to broaden her world perspectives on design.
