HAYDEN WYRICK
4th Year Interior
Architecture + Design
Hayden Wyrick is an honors student that is diligent, resilient and involved. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and she moved to Fayetteville to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Outside of her classes she is the Fundraising Chair for ASID, a member of greek life on campus and a Teaching Assistant within the Fay Jones School. This past summer she traveled abroad to Copenhagen, Denmark and completed a Furniture Design Studio. In this studio she was able to design and build her own chair which she feels helped her grow as a designer. She felt it offered her a new understanding of form while also tangibly allowing her to see how the construction of things impacts a design. Next semester she will be finishing her honors capstone focusing on how retail designers and user interface designers can better collaborate when designing retail spaces. After graduation she wants to move to California and hopefully get a job at a commercial firm that does projects related to hospitality, retail, restaurants or workplace. She loves design because it feels like one big puzzle that gradually comes together to further improve people's lives.
